Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is partnering with leading PM consultancies across New Zealand to place Intermediate to Senior Project Managers. These roles focus on delivery of infrastructure programmes, three waters, and civic projects, with active pipelines in Auckland and other cities.

You’ll own projects for client organisations, coordinate engineers and stakeholders through the lifecycle, manage budgets and risk, and report at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Consultancy PM experience preferred.
• Delivery background in infrastructure/construction.
• Based in NZ and ready to start.
• Able to take sole responsibility for projects.

Day to Day, You’ll Be

• Taking full ownership of projects on behalf of client organisations


• Coordinating engineers, architects, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders through the whole project lifecycle


• Managing programme, budget, risk, and quality performance


• Reporting and presenting at senior level, keeping clients confidently informed


• Involved in procurement and contract administration

What You’ll Bring

• Consultancy-side PM experience is much preferred


• Strong delivery background in infrastructure, three waters, or the wider construction sector


• Comfortable client-facing and juggling several workstreams at once


• Sitting at Intermediate to Senior level. Able to take sole responsibility for projects


• Construction-related qualification (Diploma or Bachelor degree alongside relevant industry experience)


• Based in NZ and ready to start

Water infrastructure experience is especially in demand at the moment, but consultancy-side delivery experience from other construction sectors is just as welcome.
