Seeking a Senior PM/Principal PM to drive multi‑million infrastructure delivery for Auckland Transport, NZTA and others, with a clear path to Director and equity as the firm grows. Strong track record in transport is essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years minimum experience in NZ infrastructure projects.
• Strong delivery track record in transport and infrastructure.
• Experience with road upgrades, bus/cycleways, bridges or rail.
• Knowledge of NZS3910 contracts and scheduling tools (MS Project/Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Lead multi‑million infrastructure projects head on and deliver packages.
• Manage client relationships with council, NZTA, Auckland Transport and the airport.
• Develop constructability, cost estimation, procurement and schedules.
• Help shape growth strategy and pursue equity opportunities for the firm.

About the role:

Seeking a Senior Project Manager or Principal Project Manager who’s eager to tackle multi million infrastructure projects head on, with a special nod to transportation-based projects. You’ll dive into delivering both challenging and interesting construction packages for the likes of Auckland Transport, NZTA, local councils, Auckland Airport & more.
While a relatively new entrant to the NZ project management & advisory sector, the Directors have an enviable track record of delivery already in Auckland & NZ, having previously worked for leading firms and delivered key iconic projects for leading NZ organisations. This has enabled them to establish themselves quickly as a trusted partner and are now leading complex projects for the likes of NZTA & Auckland Transport.
As a Principal PM, you will be a commercially astute and balanced infrastructure professional with 7‑10 years’ minimum experience under your belt in NZ infrastructure projects and looking to take the next step in your career towards Project Director and profit share in a growing firm. You will have a strong track record of delivery in transport & infrastructure projects in NZ. This could be in areas of project constructability & business case development, cost estimation & procurement, design management, project & programme management and either Engineer to Contract or Engineers Representative services.
Successful candidates will be able to point to a record in roading upgrades, bus and cycleways, bridges, rail infrastructure or similar, again delivered in the NZ market (essential)

About you:

• A strong background across civil infrastructure delivery (roading, pavements, bridges or similar)
• Background as a PM either for a dedicated PM consultant or engineering consultancy or civil contractor
• Good understanding of construction contracts, NZS3910 as well as MS Project &/or Primavera
• Strong relationship management and communication skills
• Tertiary qualification in construction, project management or engineering (or similar)
