The Information Management team provide high-quality services in verification and information management by monitoring and ensuring standards of quality and metadata are well maintained and within legislative compliance.
The team is fun and professional within a supportive organisational culture. We are looking for someone to support the team while a colleague is working reduced hours due to personal commitments.
This role primarily catalogues and manages Council's onsite records and archive collection as well as sending and receiving files from our offsite storage provider. Due to the nature of this role and working with physical files, the successful candidate would be required to be onsite at our Richmond Office and have the ability to lift boxes up to 20kgs where needed.
An element of the role is assisting Council kaimahi to locate documents relating to their role and also the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act requests when required so knowledge of the Public Records Act and Local Governments Records Archives would be an advantage although not a necessity.
