Job summary

Pure Oil New Zealand Ltd. – Rolleston, Canterbury, is seeking an Engineer to join our small engineering team at a large industrial processing site.

You will perform preventative maintenance, carry out maintenance work, and participate in capital projects involving new equipment, across equipment such as oil presses and grain handling systems. The role is 45–50 hours per week and requires trade certification with a current welding ticket; experience in production engineering is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Trade certification with current welding ticket.
• Knowledge of maintenance on large industrial processing site.
• Self-motivated; capable of working independently and in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Use preventative maintenance software system.
• Carry out maintenance work.
• Involvement in capital projects including new equipment.
• Work on machinery including oil presses, grain handling equipment.
• Be part of a small Engineering team.
