Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Efficiency Engineer to join the operations team, working remotely from Queenstown. You will analyze and optimize workflows to maximize productivity, minimize costs, and improve overall efficiency using lean principles and data analysis.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in industrial engineering, 4+ years of experience in operational efficiency, and excellent remote collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering or a similar role focused on operational efficiency.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in process mapping and simulation software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies and projects focused on enhancing process efficiency and productivity.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques, such as value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and 5S.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to measure performance and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with remote teams and stakeholders to define project scopes, gather requirements, and ensure successful implementation.
• Develop best practices and standard operating procedures to sustain efficiency gains.
