Job summary

You will collaborate with academic staff to create an accessible learning environment and contribute to ongoing accessibility improvements, while maintaining records and reporting in student management systems.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in education, disability support, inclusion, mental health or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting people with disabilities, chronic illness or injury, ideally in an education environment.
• Knowledge of disability support frameworks, inclusive practices and relevant legislation.
• Experience assessing needs and developing personalised support plans.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tailored support and accommodations for students.
• Develop and implement Individual Support Plans.
• Provide guidance, advocacy and problem-solving support.
• Collaborate with academic and professional staff to support student success.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and accessibility initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records, reporting and student support systems.
