Job summary

Airwallex is looking for an Inbound Business Development Representative to manage small business leads end-to-end in Auckland. You’ll contact customers, gather key information, and close the sale, while coordinating with stakeholders to optimize onboarding, compliance, and growth initiatives.

You will thrive in a high-growth environment, delivering value through customer conversations and by understanding client needs to position Airwallex solutions effectively.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years’ track record of success in sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong interest in technology and/or financial services.
• Self-starter who can operate in a hyper‑growth environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver value in complex situations and learn about new and existing products.
• Articulate Airwallex’s value proposition and demonstrate curiosity about customer pain points.
• Develop relationships with prospects to uncover needs through effective questioning.
• Update activity and contact information within the CRM system and support reporting efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing to improve targeting and messaging.
