Geneva Healthcare in East Auckland is looking for a compassionate Support Worker to help clients achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives through practical and emotional support.

You will assist with meal preparation, community outings, medication support, and personal care, including mobility tasks. Strong communication and reliable transport are essential, with a NZ driver's licence often required.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and genuine desire to help others.
• Previous healthcare or caregiving experience preferred but not essential.
• Great communication skills and flexibility to work alternate weekends.
• Healthcare qualifications advantageous.
• Full NZ driver’s license and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation.
• Community outings and integration.
• Medication support.
• Personal care (showering, toileting, etc.).
• Manual handling and hoist transfers.
