Job summary

Transpower in Wellington is seeking a proactive Project/Programme Coordinator to provide end-to-end support to Grid Delivery Project Managers. You will coordinate activities, manage information accurately and build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.

You will assist with financial forecasting, invoicing and variance reporting, analyse performance metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Experience in, or a strong interest in, project or programme coordination.
Sound financial acumen and familiarity with financial management systems.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and exceptions.
Advanced capability across Microsoft Office and Office 365, including Excel (experience with Microsoft Project is an advantage).
Strong organisational, coordination and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and keep projects running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Acting as the key point of contact for project support and information, coordinating activities and administration across the project lifecycle.
Coordinating and supporting financial management, including forecasting, invoicing, accruals and variance reporting, while working closely with Project Managers and our finance team.
Monitoring and analysing reports and performance metrics to support effective project management.
Contributing to continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency.
