Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in ICT support or similar is preferred.
• Experience in mobile phone and tablet repair.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• May be required to work on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mobile phones and tablet screen refurbish / replacement.
• Expert in all kinds of micro soldering.
• Diagnose faults and repair using PCB understanding.
• Install or configure software and drivers on devices.
• Set up and test hardware or software for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Repair and troubleshoot smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops.
• Assist at front desk by creating new tickets and supporting sales.
• Provide excellent customer service in-person and over the phone.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently.
• Continuously learn about products and services.

We are seeking ICT Support Technicians to join our team on a full-time basis in Auckland. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an ICT Support Technician specialising in phone and computer repair. You will work a minimum of 30 hours and a maximum of 40 hours a week. You will be paid $25 -$35 per hour, depending on experience. You may need to work on weekends.

You will be responsible for:

• Mobile phones and tablet screen glass refurbish / replacement
• Expert in all kinds of micro soldering
• Good understanding of PCB components, diagnosing faults and repairing
• Install or configure software and drivers on devices.
• Set up and test hardware or software of devices like Laptops, Computer systems, MacBooks, Smartphones, iPads, and Tablets to resolve faults.
• Repair and troubleshoot various devices like Smartphones, Tablets, Laptops, and desktops.
• Attentive at the front desk to create new tickets and assist in sales support.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers physically as well as over the phone.
• Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
• Continuously improve your knowledge of our products and services.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
