About the role
Provide high-quality IT support to NMO staff and our wider provider network. Maintain network infrastructure to ensure systems operate reliably and securely. Continuously improve and document IT systems, infrastructure, and processes.
Key responsibilities
- Provide Level 1–2 IT support to staff for computers, printers, and Microsoft 365 services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Forms, and associated applications.
- Manage user accounts, access, and permissions in line with security best practices.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Implement and monitor IT security policies and controls to protect systems, devices, and network infrastructure.
- Ensure servers, computers, and devices are maintained with the latest patches, updates, and security configurations.
- Manage the IT Helpdesk, including reviewing, prioritising, and assigning support requests, and escalating where required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, infrastructure, configurations, and processes across all environments.
- Manage Microsoft Azure environments and virtual machines.
About you
- Level 5 diploma in IT or equivalent experience (3–5 years).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- ITIL certification or familiarity with IT service management frameworks (preferred).
- Knowledge of the health sector (preferred).
