• Ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• MCIPS, CIPS or equivalent procurement qualification will be highly regarded.

Job description

We're looking for an experienced and commercially savvy ICT Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team and lead technology procurement across SkyCity New Zealand. Reporting to the General Manager Procurement, you'll play a critical role in partnering with our Technology teams to deliver value, manage supplier relationships and support the technology investments that enable our business to thrive.

As ICT Procurement Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies across software, hardware, cloud services, telecommunications, cyber security and technology-enabled services. You'll work closely with the CIO, ICT Leadership Team and key stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with business priorities, technology strategy and operational objectives.

You'll lead end-to-end sourcing and tender activities, manage strategic supplier relationships and negotiate commercial agreements that balance value, innovation and risk. With oversight of approximately $40 million in technology-related expenditure, you'll help drive operational efficiency, supplier performance and sound commercial decision-making across the organisation.

We're looking for a confident procurement professional who can build strong stakeholder relationships, navigate complex commercial negotiations and deliver practical procurement solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll bring:
