Job summary

SkyCity, Auckland-based, seeks an experienced Group Manager Procurement to lead our procurement function across New Zealand. This senior role reports to the CFO and focuses on delivering sustainable value, managing risk and enabling business performance.

You will oversee procurement governance, category management and supplier relationships, driving strategic sourcing and continuous improvement while building a high-performing team across SkyCity’s diverse operations.

Qualifications

• Significant senior procurement, commercial or supply chain leadership experience.
• Strong track record in strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Strong financial, analytical and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience developing procurement strategies, operating models and governance frameworks.
• Passion for building high-performing teams and continuous improvement.
• Tertiary qualifications; MCIPS, CIPS or equivalent viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across procurement governance, category management and supplier relationship management.
• Oversee procurement expenditure across New Zealand operations.
• Lead sourcing activities and drive value creation and supplier innovation.
• Partner with senior leaders to align procurement with organisational priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain commercial discipline.
