Job summary

Meridian Energy is seeking an ICT Enterprise Architect to shape the company’s technology future. You will define the technology roadmap, align technology decisions with business outcomes, and lead architecture governance across the organisation.

You will collaborate with business and ICT leaders, simplify complex landscapes, and champion innovative opportunities that deliver long-term value for New Zealand’s leading renewable energy company.

Job Description

As our ICT Enterprise Architect, you'll help shape Meridian's technology future by ensuring our systems, platforms, and technology investments work together to support our business strategy. You'll provide clear direction, simplify complexity, and help us make smart decisions that deliver long-term value.

You'll:

Define and evolve Meridian's technology roadmap and architecture direction.

Partner with business and ICT leaders to align technology decisions with business outcomes.

Simplify and modernise our technology landscape, reducing complexity and improving efficiency.

Establish architecture standards, governance, and guardrails to support consistent decision-making.

Lead architecture forums and provide oversight on strategic technology initiatives.

Champion innovation and identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies.

Qualifications

You'll be a strategic thinker who can connect business goals with technology outcomes, influence at all levels, and bring clarity to complex challenges.

You'll bring:

Experience shaping enterprise architecture strategies in complex environments.

A strong ability to translate business needs into clear technology direction and priorities.

Experience establishing architecture principles, standards, and governance practices.
