Are you an organizational wizard who loves systems, spreadsheet accuracy, and smooth logistics? Te Haikura A Kiwa is seeking a detail-orientedICT Administratorto manage the operational and administrative side of our digital technology inventory.
Note: This is an administration and logistics position, not a technical IT specialist role.
You will keep our hardware ecosystems running seamlessly. You will track ICT assets, manage replacement timelines, oversee student loan bonds, monitor attendance for remote control of student devices, and coordinate distributions for our upcoming WPFY (We Provide For You) rollout across senior year levels (Years 11-12 in 2027, Years 11-13 from 2028), as well as manage the onboarding and tracking of staff devices.
Conduct stocktakes of staff devices, Computers on Wheels (CoWs) trolleys, specialist high-spec subject devices, and senior laptops.
Manage the assignment, distribution, tracking, and retrieval of staff laptops and accessories.
Track lifecycle data (purchase dates, warranties, and retirement timelines) to inform maintenance and upgrades.
Process student laptop loan bonds and liaise with the finance team.
Monitor student attendance for remotely turning off devices.
Coordinate repairs and insurance claims with third-party vendors.
Support ICT technical staff by handling administrative workflows, hardware logging, and distribution logistics.
Strong administrative and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in spreadsheet software (Excel/Google Sheets) and asset tracking databases.
Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, students, and parents.
Ability to handle physical logistics associated with device deployment and moving device trolleys.
This is a permanent, part-time 30 hours a week role- term time
