Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora invites applications for a Care Manager role at Nelson Hospital, focusing on infants, children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health needs. The role is permanent, full-time, 80 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday, 8.00am–4.30pm.

You will assess and deliver interventions using best-practice models, liaise with Oranga Tamariki, schools and GPs, and work with local Māori networks in a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualificações

• Registration as a nurse or allied health professional.
• 2+ years of experience in relevant setting.
• Experience in iCAMHS or mental health setting preferred.
• Experience delivering assessments and evidence-based interventions.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions for infants, children and adolescents with mental health needs using best-practice models.
• Provide liaison with community services such as Oranga Tamariki, schools, GPs and local Māori networks.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to support service users and their whanau.
• Engage in collaborative practice and contribute to a cohesive team culture.
