Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is advertising a Care Manager for the Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS) in Nelson Hospital. The role is a permanent full-time position, 80 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday, 8.00am–4.30pm, working within a regional team of specialists.

You will assess and provide evidence-based interventions for young people with complex mental health needs, collaborating with Oranga Tamariki, schools, GPs and Māori networks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in iCAMHS or mental health setting.
• Experience with assessments and interventions for infants, children and youth.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and liaise with community agencies.

Responsibilities

• Undertake assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for infants, children and youth.
• Collaborate with community services such as Oranga Tamariki, schools, GPs and Māori networks.
