Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Nelson region, is seeking a Care Manager ICAMHS Nelson/Tasman for a permanent full-time role.

You will assess and deliver evidence-based interventions for infants, children and adolescents with mental health needs, liaising with schools, GPs, Oranga Tamariki and whanau within a multi-disciplinary team.

The position includes working 80 hours per fortnight, and emphasizes collaborative, best-practice care within iCAMHS across the region.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience, preferably in iCAMHS or mental health.
• Experience delivering assessments and evidence-based interventions for infants, children and youth.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and therapeutic interventions for infants, children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health needs.
• Liaise with community services, schools, GPs, Oranga Tamariki and Maori networks.
• Be an active participant in a multidisciplinary team and contribute to collaborative practice.
