Job summary
Contact Energy is seeking a Clutha Maintenance Lead to drive maintenance plans and lead a skilled team at the Clyde site. You will balance people leadership with operational excellence, ensuring safe, efficient maintenance and maximizing plant reliability and generation availability.
You will work with asset management, engineering and planning teams to improve reliability and maintenance practices, while guiding outages and complex challenges to keep one of New Zealand’s key hydro schemes
Qualifications
- Experience leading maintenance teams in hydro, energy, industrial or similar environments.
- Proven ability to deliver safe, high quality maintenance work and improve reliability.
- Strong planning, decision making and people leadership in safety critical settings.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance plans and a skilled team to deliver safe, high quality work.
- Coordinate outages, fault investigations and complex maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with asset management, engineering and planning to lift performance.
- Drive reliability improvements and maintenance practices across the Clyde scheme.
