Job summary

Silver Fern Farms Ltd in Balclutha is seeking an Asset Team Lead to shape asset strategy at our busy Finegand site. Reporting to the Engineering Operations Manager, you will lead a small team and bridge production, engineering, and health & safety to keep the plant running smoothly.

You will set up systems and routines to improve reliability, planning and performance, influence asset design and maintenance for upcoming expansions, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safe operations

Qualifications

• Experience in asset management, maintenance or engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and leadership to guide a team and coordinate across functions.
• Focus on reliability, planning and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and embed asset management and maintenance strategies across site.
• Build trusted relationships and get the best out of your team through clear systems, smart planning, and collaboration.
• Support production with reliable facilities and equipment to meet changing market demands.
• Identify opportunities to improve, simplify, and strengthen reliability.
• Work closely with leaders to develop processes that keep focus on continuous improvement.
