Job summary

Contact Energy is seeking a Clutha Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance plans and lead a skilled team at the Clyde site. You’ll work with contractors and stakeholders to deliver safe, high-quality maintenance, maximise plant reliability, and improve outage execution.

This role blends people leadership with operational excellence in a safety-critical hydro environment. You’ll collaborate with asset management, engineering and planning teams to lift performance, develop capability, and champion

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in a hydro/energy or safety-critical environment.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver maintenance plans to maximise reliability and availability.
• Familiarity with maintenance planning and work management systems such as SAP PM.

Responsibilities

• Lead a skilled maintenance team and coordinate with contractors.
• Develop and execute maintenance plans to maximise generation availability.
• Support outage execution and fault investigations while improving reliability.
