Stantec in Auckland is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to join our Buildings team. You will work on diverse projects, applying hydraulic design for data centres, healthcare, offices and more.

The role offers growth in technical capability, client relations, and project coordination within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. You will be supported by senior engineers and wider project teams, with opportunities for professional development and Chartered status progression.

Qualificações

• A Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code and relevant NZ/NZ standards.
• Around 3 years’ professional experience within the consulting or engineering industry.
• Previous hydraulic building services experience (domestic hot/cold water, sanitary, stormwater).
• Strong technical understanding of hydraulic design and construction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Initiative, curiosity, collaborative approach; Chartered status favorable but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake hydraulic engineering assessments and calculations for building systems design.
• Collaborate with local authorities, government bodies, and commercial clients.
• Apply strong organisational and time-management skills alongside technical design capability.
• Manage workloads to meet client needs while maintaining relationships with colleagues.
