Placements24 in Queenstown seeks a Youth Empowerment Program Coordinator to design, implement, and oversee programs that boost youth skills development, leadership, and career guidance in a hybrid work setting.

You will partner with schools and community groups, mentor youth, manage budgets, and report outcomes, with a focus on inclusion and positive impact in the Queenstown/Eastern Cape region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in youth work or program coordination.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in hybrid/field settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage programs focused on youth skills development, leadership training, and career guidance.
• Design engaging activities, workshops, and events for young people.
• Facilitate mentorship programs and connect youth with relevant opportunities and resources.
• Build and maintain partnerships with schools, colleges, community organizations, and potential employers.
• Monitor program participation and outcomes, collecting data to assess impact.
• Prepare reports on program activities, achievements, and challenges for stakeholders and leadership.
• Manage program budgets and ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all young participants in Queenstown.
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in youth development within the Eastern Cape.
