Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Junior Policy Administrator to join our client’s team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This entry-level role focuses on the administration and management of insurance policies, offering structured training and a pathway to build experience in the insurance industry.

You will support the policy administration team, ensure accuracy of policy records, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent is required.
• Tertiary education or insurance certifications are advantageous.
• Previous administrative or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily administration of insurance policies including new business processing, endorsements, and renewals.
• Input and maintain policyholder data in company databases.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding policy details, coverage, and billing.
• Process policy changes and updates as requested by clients or internal stakeholders.
• Prepare policy documents, schedules, and related correspondence.
• Liaise with sales teams and other departments to ensure smooth policy processing.
• Support the team with administrative tasks, filing, and record-keeping.
• Adhere to procedures and regulatory requirements in policy administration activities.
