Job summary

WiqNZ, a Woolworths Group and Quantium collaboration, is seeking a commercially-minded Data Analyst to support a high-use analytics platform. You will work with NZ, AU and India stakeholders to deliver robust analytical solutions using SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy) and Excel, with dbt in the backend.

The role emphasizes data quality, pipeline maintenance, and proactive problem solving, in a hybrid NZ work environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in analytics (preferably commercial).
• Proficient in writing and understanding complex SQL queries; data modeling/engineering knowledge is a plus.
• Strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy) and GitHub workflows.
• Excellent Excel capabilities including macros automation; VBA/Google Sheets a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and evolve business-facing toolkits (Excel front end, dbt & Python backend).
• Run data pipeline refreshes; develop features; contribute to continuous improvement roadmaps.
• Debug tooling errors; prioritize solutions; ensure thorough testing.
• Monitor tool inboxes; resolve stakeholder queries; communicate findings clearly.
• Ensure high-quality technical work; adhere to best practices for robust analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with wider analytics teams across NZ, AU and India.
