Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead the technical delivery of large-scale data platform and BI solutions. You will design, implement and own robust data platform and insight deployments while collaborating closely with client stakeholders and internal leads.

This client-facing role requires strong communication and presentation skills across diverse teams. The role supports a hybrid working arrangement, with three days in Datacom offices across Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years' experience in EDW design and implementation.
• Minimum 7+ years' experience in ETL architecting and design.
• Minimum 7+ years' experience in data modelling (Star/Snowflake).
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in semantic layer development and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of large-scale data platforms and BI solutions.
• Design data models across domains and industries.
• Develop and deploy AI-enabled data migration and modernization scenarios.
• Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to clients and teams.
• Engage with stakeholders and manage project delivery lifecycle.
