Job summary

Excel Refrigeration & Air Conditioning in Auckland is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to keep commercial and industrial systems operating reliably and efficiently. You will service, repair and maintain a variety of HVAC and ventilation systems on site across diverse locations.

The role requires strong fault-finding and mechanical skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a customer-focused approach. Mentoring apprentices is welcomed and encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years commercial HVAC experience.
• Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to support and mentor apprentices.

HVAC Service Technician

Join Excel Refrigeration & Air Conditioning as an experienced HVAC Service Technician, working across a varied range of commercial and industrial sites.

The Role

Working as part of our Auckland team, you’ll be responsible for keeping our customers’ HVAC systems operating reliably and efficiently.

Your Day-to-day Work Will Include

• Servicing and repairing commercial HVAC and ventilation systems
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
• Working across a diverse range of commercial and industrial sites
• Completing service documentation and communicating with customers
• Supporting and sharing your knowledge with apprentices

About You

We’re looking for a capable and experienced technician who takes pride in delivering quality work and enjoys being part of a team.

You’ll Bring
