Job summary

Ventia in Hastings, Hawke's Bay, is seeking an experienced Supervisor - High Voltage Electrical Services to lead our local team on the Transpower maintenance contract. You will oversee safe delivery of maintenance and minor projects across HV assets, coaching electricians and planning resources to meet client needs.

You will spend time in the field supporting operations while also planning, scheduling and engaging stakeholders to ensure quality and performance.

• Strong electrical industry experience in high-voltage environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of electricians and field personnel.
• Develop team capability through mentoring, training and performance support.
• Coordinate maintenance and minor project works across high-voltage assets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify efficiencies.
• Plan and schedule resources across multiple work programmes and sites.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance.
• Conduct site visits, inspections and quality assurance activities.
• Monitor project performance to ensure on-time delivery within scope.
• Provide technical guidance and support to field teams.
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
