You’ll be in the business, with the people—partnering with managers, supporting employees, tackling employment matters and driving improvements that matter.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior HR management or advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of NZ employment legislation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine passion for developing people and building great cultures.
• The ability to move between strategy and hands-on execution.

We’re looking for an experiencedHuman Resources Managerwho can bring energy, commercial thinking and strong HR expertise to a growing, hands-on business.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll be a trusted member of the leadership team, working across the business to build capability, strengthen culture and make sure our people are set up to succeed.

The opportunity

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk and manage HR processes.

You’ll bein the business, with the people— partnering with managers, supporting employees, tackling employment matters, developing leaders and driving improvements that make a genuine difference.

You’ll have responsibility across the full HR function, including:

• Developing and delivering our people strategy
• Providing practical, commercially focused HR advice
• On the job coaching with the teams
• Recruitment, workforce planning and retention
• Performance management and employee development
• Leadership, learning and capability development

About you

You’ll be an experienced HR professional who combinesstrong technical knowledge with genuine commercial and people skills.

You will have:

• Proven experience in a senior HR management or advisory role
• Strong knowledge of NZ employment legislation
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• The confidence to advise, influence and challenge when needed
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset
• Strong judgement and problem-solving ability
• Experience working closely with leaders and managers
• A genuine passion for developing people and building great cultures
• The ability to move comfortably between strategy and getting stuck into the detail
• Experience inmanufacturing, FMCG, food production or another operational environmentwould be an advantage.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who isenergetic, pragmatic, commercially minded and genuinely interested in people.
