Job summary

Rentokil Initial New Zealand seeks an HR Advisor to drive flexible, growth-oriented HR support in Wellington. You will partner with managers and staff, delivering policy guidance and HR initiatives within a global service leader.

With 1–2 years in HR, you’ll coach leaders, handle employee relations, and ensure NZ employment law compliance, while maintaining HR records and HRIS data. Pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HR experience in coordinator or advisory roles.
• Autonomous and resilient, capable of meeting tight deadlines.
• Moderate knowledge of employee relations (ER savviness).
• Strong influencing and coaching skills for leaders.
• Solid understanding of New Zealand employment law.
• Passionate about value-driven HR initiatives and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on HR policies and best practices to managers and staff.
• Assist employee relations matters, resolve conflicts, promote a positive atmosphere.
• Stay updated on employment legislation and ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement HR initiatives, programs, and policies.
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
• Manage HRIS (Workday) and HR reporting, keeping data up-to-date.
• Support the HRBP with HR-related initiatives.
