Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking a proactive Health, Safety, Environment, Quality Systems Analyst to strengthen and improve our Integrated Management System (IMS) for ISO alignment and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Chief Health, Safety & Risk Officer, you will develop dashboards, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, trends, and risk-based decision-making across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience managing HSEQ systems, compliance processes, or quality management systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 31000, and ACC Accredited Employer Programme requirements.
• Strong document management and process improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IMS to align with ISO standards, ACC requirements, legislation, and business needs.
• Analyse trends, recurring issues, and risks to support decision-making.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and monthly HSEQ performance reports.
• Support digital HSEQ systems and data quality improvements.
• Champion AI-enabled tools for reporting, document management, and trend analysis.
• Identify opportunities to automate routine reporting and compliance monitoring.
