Job summary
WM New Zealand seeks a proactive Health, Safety, Environment, Quality Systems Analyst to strengthen our Integrated Management System and ensure alignment with ISO standards, ACC requirements, and NZ legislation. You will use data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, identify trends, and support risk-based decisions.
Reporting to the Chief Health, Safety & Risk Officer, you will develop dashboards, KPIs and monthly performance reports for the Executive and Board, while improving
Qualifications
- Experience implementing or maintaining Integrated Management Systems.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001, 14001, 9001 and ACC AEP requirements.
- Experience managing HSEQ systems and compliance processes.
- Strong documentation and process improvement skills.
- Ability to prepare executive-level reports.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the IMS to align with ISO standards and ACC AEP.
- Maintain environmental aspects & risk registers and other documents.
- Review feedback from audits and update IMS accordingly.
- Analyze trends and risks to support decisions and improvement.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and monthly HSEQ reports for executives.
- Support digital HSEQ systems and data quality improvements.
- Champion AI-enabled tools to improve reporting and knowledge management.
- Identify opportunities to automate routine reporting and monitoring.
- Collect, validate, analyze health, safety, environmental, quality, and operational data.
