Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking a proactive Health, Safety, Environment, Quality Systems Analyst to strengthen our IMS and ensure alignment with ISO standards, ACC requirements, legislation, and business needs.

You will use data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, identify trends, and support risk-based decisions, developing dashboards and monthly performance reports for Executive and Board members.

Qualifications

Experience in HSEQ environments and data-driven improvements.
Knowledge of ISO 45001/14001/9001 and ACC AEP requirements.
Experience managing HSEQ systems and compliance processes.
Strong document management and process improvement skills.
Advanced Excel and reporting tools experience.
Familiarity with AI, automation, and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Maintain IMS to align with ISO 45001/14001/9001 and ACC AEP.
Maintain environmental aspects, risk, legal compliance registers and documentation.
Review audit feedback and update IMS accordingly.
Analyze trends and risks to support actions and improvements.
Develop dashboards, KPIs, and monthly HSEQ reports for Exec/Board.
Support digital HSEQ systems and data quality improvements.
Champion AI-enabled reporting and document management.
Identify opportunities to automate routine reporting and processes.
Collect, validate, analyze lead/lag performance data.
