Job summary

Recruitment Studio in Auckland is seeking a genuine hybrid HR leader who can connect people, processes and performance. This role is not a standard generalist position and blends Talent, Process and Performance in one seat.

You’ll be the go-to for talent strategy, process improvement, performance frameworks, and HR analytics, turning data into decisions with the support of a collaborative manager and team. An awesome opportunity in a well-regarded organisation.

Responsibilities

• Talent strategy — attraction, development and career pathways that actually work
• Process improvement — spotting the gaps, fixing the friction, making HR run smoother
• Performance frameworks — designing and embedding processes that help people (and the business) genuinely lift
• Digging into HR data and analytics to surface trends, tell the story, and back decisions with evidence rather than gut feel
• Partnering closely with a supportive manager and team who back your ideas and back you to run with them
• A genuine all‑rounder with a strong lean towards talent and analytics
• Not scared of a spreadsheet — you know the data’s there to be used, and you know how to use it
• Strong presence and credibility — comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels
• Someone who spots process gaps and can’t help but want to fix them
• Solid grounding in HR fundamentals, with the curiosity to keep pushing into new territory
• Open to your industry background — we care more about your capability than your CV’s logo history
