We’re partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to support leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle.
This is a hands‑on, generalist role where you’ll provide pragmatic advice, help drive consistent people practices, and contribute to positive culture and performance outcomes.
Provide day‑to‑day HR advice to leaders and employees (policies, performance, ER, absence, conduct).
Support end‑to‑end recruitment processes, onboarding, and probation reviews.
Assist with performance and development processes and coaching conversations.
Support employment relations matters (disciplinary, grievances, investigations) with sound process and documentation.
Contribute to HR projects (policy updates, engagement initiatives, change support).
Maintain accurate HR documentation and support reporting/administration as required.
Partner with key stakeholders to promote best‑practice, consistent people decisions.
2‑3 years proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role
Good working knowledge of NZ employment legislation and HR best practice.
Confident communicator—able to influence, coach, and build trust with leaders.
Practical, solutions‑focused approach with good judgement and discretion.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Comfortable working on‑site and being visible/accessible to the business.
