Cultivate Recruitment – East Tamaki, North Island

We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor who knows how to build credibility quickly, ask the right questions and confidently partner with stakeholders across a large, complex operational environment.

This is a hands-on generalist advisory role where relationships matter. You'll support leaders across the business with day-to-day people matters, navigate casework and contribute to broader HR initiatives - all while becoming a trusted, pragmatic sounding board to your stakeholders.

About the role

Working alongside two experienced Senior HR Business Partners, you'll provide hands-on generalist HR support across a busy, complex operational environment. You'll get involved in:

• Providing practical HR advice and coaching to people leaders
• Managing generalist casework across the employee lifecycle
• Building trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Navigating HR policies, processes and employment matters
• Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives

With a dedicated Workplace Relations team managing more complex ER matters, your focus will be on quality HR advice, stakeholder partnering and getting alongside the business.

About you

• Demonstrated generalist HR advisory experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills and EQ
• Confidence partnering with operational leaders at all levels
• Sound judgement and a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Experience within a large or complex organisation
• Union/CEA exposure is advantageous, but not essential
