Job summary

You will help clients overcome barriers, ensure smooth transitions to permanent housing, and maintain detailed records while upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles. This is a full-time, fixed-term role requiring a NZ driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the private rental market and housing system.
• Experience engaging with real estate sector and processes.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and working with Māori/Pasifika whānau.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to complete NZCHW Level 4 within two years if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Identify housing needs with clients and help overcome barriers to housing.
• Support transitions from current living situations to permanent housing.
• Collaborate with teams and NGOs to identify ongoing support needs.
• Help tenants sustain housing and connect to health and social supports.
• Coordinate with NGOs and mental health teams to review goals and housing solutions.
