Job summary

Northridge Golf Resort in Auckland is seeking a friendly All Rounder to support hospitality operations across reception, bar, café and dining areas. Training is provided for barista tasks, with emphasis on guest experience and smooth service.

The role involves check-ins/outs, inquiries, bookings, serving beverages and meals, and helping with housekeeping duties when needed. Weekend work is required, and a positive, guest-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience or customer-service background is preferred.
• Barista experience is ideal, but training can be provided.
• Strong communication and a friendly, professional attitude are essential.
• Willingness to work across reception, food & beverage, bar, café, events and general resort duties.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with weekend work required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a memorable farewell.
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs at reception, including reservations and payments.
• Handle guest inquiries and bookings via phone and email with timely, accurate responses.
• Prepare and serve beverages at the bar, including specialty coffees and spirits.
• Take and serve food and beverage orders in the dining area with accuracy and courtesy.
• Assist with food service setup, delivery and clearing as needed.
• Maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction across all areas.
• Process guest payments and operate the POS system.
• Keep reception, bar and dining areas clean and organized.
• Participate in team briefings and training sessions.
• Adhere to resort policies and maintain a professional appearance.
