Job summary

EVT Limited's LyLo Queenstown is seeking an Operations Agent to support multiple hotel areas and ensure smooth daily operations and an exceptional guest experience. The role involves guest service, arrivals/departures, and assisting Food & Beverage tasks in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

The position emphasizes hands-on collaboration, a Daymaker ethos, and the ability to work across departments with resilience and a growth mindset. Minimum hourly engagement of 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience, ideally within Front Office or Food & Beverage.
• Genuine passion for delivering great guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work across multiple tasks and departments in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, reliability and strong attention to detail.
• Physical fitness to support a hands-on operational role.
• Confidence working with guests from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional service and respond to guest enquiries, requests and concerns.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures, including processing transactions accurately.
• Support Food & Beverage operations, including barista service, hosting, and serving food and drinks.
• Maintain clean, safe and welcoming public and guest areas throughout the hotel.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry tasks, ensuring service areas are stocked and organised.
• Work collaboratively across departments to support hotel operations and resolve maintenance or operational issues.
