Job summary

Ngāti Porou Oranga is seeking a reliable Kitchen Hand to support the hospital kitchen at Te Puia Springs. The role is casual, with 7-day rotating rosters, focusing on hygiene, food safety, and assisting with meal prep for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean kitchens, stock management, and accurate record keeping. Prior experience in a hospital or aged care environment is preferred, and eligibility to work in Aotearoa is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleaning according to schedules.
• Assist with stock, deliveries, and FIFO inventory rotation.
