Keith Andrews Trucks is seeking a Heavy Diesel Technician to diagnose faults, repair and service a range of heavy diesel vehicles in our Hamilton workshop. You will work with Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso equipment, maintain safety and workshop standards, and benefit from ongoing manufacturer training within a nationwide dealership network.

You’ll complete job documentation and coordinate with Service Advisors and customers, contributing to safe, efficient service and continuous workshop

Qualifications

• Qualified Heavy Diesel / Automotive Technician
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with diesel engines or heavy vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety and workshop best practices

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair faults across diesel engines and vehicle systems
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Complete job documentation and maintain accurate service records

About the Role

As a Heavy Diesel Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers’ trucks and commercial vehicles running safely and efficiently. Working in our well-equipped Hamilton workshop, you’ll diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and complete servicing across a range of heavy diesel vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults across diesel engines and vehicle systems
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
