Tradestaff is on the hunt for a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to get stuck into a hands‑on assignment in Gisborne.

You’ll be working on tractors, harvesters and agricultural equipment, tackling everything from tricky hydraulic faults to heavy‑duty mechanical repairs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems on heavy machinery
• Servicing and repairing tractors, harvesters and agricultural equipment
• Fault-finding on diesel engines, drivetrains and mechanical systems
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Repairing and maintaining light vehicles and farm machinery
• Identifying mechanical issues and delivering practical solutions
• Working independently to keep machinery operating safely
