Job summary

Canstaff in Greymouth on the West Coast is seeking a Heavy Diesel Technician or automotive tradesperson for a full-time, Monday–Friday role. The position offers a competitive remuneration package based on experience and a friendly, supportive team.

You will have opportunities to work across trucks, trailers, buses, and more, in a collaborative environment. The role supports gaining Class 2–5 licenses with full training and ongoing development.

About You:

You are someone who is motivated, reliable, and ready to bring your skills to the team. To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Have a broad range of knowledge with servicing and repairs to most vehicles
• Be able to complete tasks to a high standard in a timely manner
• Have computer skills
• Be confident with a scan tool
• A solid work ethic, reliable and punctual
• Self-motivated and the ability to work unsupervised
• A full drivers' licence, including Classes 2 – 5, or the ability to gain them.
• A qualification in Heavy Diesel Automotive or a relevant auto trade.
