Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora seeks an experienced project and change leader to drive business, workforce and service-user improvements across Wellington’s district. You will establish governance, manage budgets and risks, and deliver sustainable changes with autonomy.

The role reports to the General Manager, Non-Clinical Support & Delivery, and covers operational continuity, procurement, facilities and patient-facing services. Permanent, full-time role in Wellington region.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience delivering complex projects in a large, complex environment.
• Strong capability across scope, governance, budgets, procurement, suppliers, risk, benefits realisation and transition into business as usual.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building across all levels, with a focus on equity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead business, workforce and service-user change and improvement projects across the portfolio and district.
• Manage delivery with governance, budgets, risks and dependencies; ensure sustainable adoption into BAU.
• Coordinate cross-service initiatives spanning operational continuity, contractors, technology, facilities and patient-facing services.
