SkyCity Entertainment Group in Auckland seeks a Head of Digital Strategy to define the enterprise digital vision and roadmaps, accelerating value across business units. You’ll lead a team of digital specialists, validate ideas through pilots, and translate insights into scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading digital strategy, transformation or enterprise technology initiatives.
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, large language models, agentic AI and AI-enabled software development.
• Experience leading high-performing teams and influencing senior executives.
• Demonstrated success delivering measurable business outcomes through digital transformation.
• Strong commercial acumen, including business case development and portfolio prioritisation.
• The ability to work confidently with architects, engineers, business leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Experience operating within governance, security and compliance frameworks.
• A supportive, diverse company culture and a collaborative team environment.

Reporting to the Group Digital Officer, you'll be responsible for defining SkyCity's enterprise digital strategy and creating a clear roadmap for how digital and AI technologies can accelerate our commercial and operational goals. You'll lead a specialist team focused on identifying strategic opportunities, validating ideas through pilots and proofs of concept, and transforming insights into scalable business outcomes.

This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, technology innovation and delivery, providing a platform to influence executive leaders and shape the future digital landscape of a leading entertainment and hospitality organisation.

• Develop and own SkyCity's enterprise digital strategy.Identify, prioritise and validate strategic digital and AI opportunities.
• Lead a high-performing team including enterprise architects, product-focused leaders and portfolio specialists.
• Build compelling business cases and strategic recommendations for investment.
• Guide build-versus-buy decisions, platform consolidation opportunities and technology modernisation initiatives.
