SkyCity Entertainment Group in Auckland, New Zealand, seeks a commercially minded finance leader to join our Executive Finance team as GM Business Performance. You will lead finance planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting across NZ operations, partnering with the NZ COO and senior leaders to maximise value and resource allocation.

This is a high-impact role, requiring strong modelling, cross-functional partnership and the ability to influence at executive level to deliver

Qualifications

• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Extensive experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering or finance leadership roles.
• Experience supporting large, complex and multi-site operations.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and business case development expertise.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
• The ability to challenge constructively while building trusted relationships across the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting for SkyCity New Zealand.
• Partner with NZ COO and senior leadership to drive value and informed decisions.
• Provide strategic insight, rigorous analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Support operating expenditure and capital investment programmes across units.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the GM Business Performance will lead SkyCity New Zealand's financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, performance reporting and commercial decision support functions. This role serves as the principal finance partner to the New Zealand Chief Operating Officer and senior leadership teams, helping shape decisions that drive business performance and long-term success.

This is a highly influential leadership position with responsibility for partnering across multiple business units. Leading a team of finance business partners and business performance professionals, you'll provide strategic insight, rigorous analysis and actionable recommendations that maximise financial performance, optimise resource allocation and support delivery of SkyCity's strategic objectives. You'll be responsible for supporting decisions across operating expenditure and capital investment programmes.

We're seeking a commercially minded finance leader who combines analytical rigour with the ability to influence and partner at executive level.
