Job summary

Absolute It in Christchurch is seeking a Head of Digital Partnerships to connect business strategy with digital investment and delivery across the organisation. You will work with executives to priority initiatives and ensure roadmaps align with business objectives, acting as a trusted advisor to shape strategic decisions.

You will lead a team of Digital Business Improvement Partners, guiding data, architecture, development and governance to deliver integrated, long-term value across operations

Qualifications

• Proven leadership across Digital, technology, transformation or enterprise applications.
• Experience developing Digital strategies, portfolios and roadmaps aligned to business outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen evaluating investments across value, risk, cost and complexity.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional transformation and organisational change initiatives.
• Understanding of enterprise applications, data, reporting, automation, integration and Digital governance.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including executive-level relationships.
• Demonstrated success leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
• Ability to navigate competing priorities while focusing on long-term business value.
• Experience in manufacturing, food production or regulated environments is advantageous.

About the role:

As Head of Digital Partnerships, you’ll be responsible for connecting business strategy with Digital investment, transformation and delivery across the organisation.
You’ll work closely with executive and senior leaders to identify opportunities, establish priorities and ensure Digital initiatives are aligned to business objectives. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll help shape strategic roadmaps, influence investment decisions and oversee the successful delivery of business improvement initiatives.

You’ll also lead a team of Digital Business Improvement Partners, partnering across Digital specialist functions including data, architecture, development, infrastructure and business intelligence to deliver integrated solutions that create long‑term value.
This role combines leadership, strategy, stakeholder engagement and transformation delivery, making it ideal for someone who enjoys operating at both an executive and operational level.

• Proven leadership experience across Digital, technology, transformation or enterprise applications environments
• Experience developing Digital strategies, portfolios and roadmaps aligned to business outcomes
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate investments across value, risk, cost and complexity
