Job summary

Flame Bar and Grill in Queenstown is seeking an experienced Beverage Manager to own the beverage experience across two busy waterfront restaurants. This hands-on leadership role involves leading service from the bar, coaching bartenders, and improving behind-the-scenes systems.

You will work with the Restaurant Director and Operations Manager to drive consistency, develop people and refine the beverage program while remaining active in service each week.

Qualifications

• Experience in bar management and team leadership.
• Strong attention to cost control and stock management.

Responsibilities

• Leading one bar during service and setting the pace for the team.
• Coaching and supporting Head Bartenders to deliver exceptional drinks.
• Creating bars that are organized, disciplined and enjoyable to work in.
• Embedding a culture of consistency, cleanliness and continuous improvement.
• Maintaining outstanding beverage quality and guest experience.
• Ensuring both bars deliver the same high standards across venues.
