The Eden Park Trust is seeking a practical, reliable and hands-on Handyman / General Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team.
Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, this role is responsible for carrying out a wide range of general maintenance, repair and presentation work across the Eden Park precinct.
You will help ensure our buildings, event spaces, offices, public areas and back-of-house facilities are safe, functional and well presented. This is a varied and active role involving routine maintenance, minor repairs, painting and touch-up work, furniture repairs, basic carpentry, and supporting the Facilities team with venue readiness before and after events.
No two days are the same. You could be repairing a door or wall, completing painting touch-ups, setting up a space for an event, responding to a maintenance request or helping prepare the venue for a major sporting fixture, concert, corporate function or community event.
We're looking for a practical, hands-on and proactive person who takes pride in high-quality work and enjoys working in a busy venue environment.
