Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand in the Wairarapa is seeking an experienced Hand Therapist to join the allied health team at Masterton's Wairarapa Hospital. This is a part-time role (0.1 FTE), providing hand therapy mainly in outpatient settings with occasional inpatient work.

You will work as a solo Hand Therapist, collaborating closely with physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and orthopaedic services to maximise client outcomes for adults and children.

Qualifications

• Registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with NZ board.
• Current Annual Practising Certificate held.
• Membership with Hand Therapy New Zealand required.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and report writing skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsabilités

• Provide hand therapy in outpatient settings with occasional inpatient work.
• Work as a solo Hand Therapist within the allied health team.
